Rethink
We are rethinking what a normal first phone should be.
Children do not need unrestricted internet, social media exposure, or addictive digital environments from day one. Technology should support healthy development and gradual independence.
Rebel Telecom is creating a safer, healthier introduction to technology.
Smarter, safer devices for kids, SIM plans with purpose, and a community-powered give-back model all working together in one ecosystem for the betterment of children.
Connected. Not Consumed.
These three principles shape everything we do.

We are rethinking what a normal first phone should be.
Children do not need unrestricted internet, social media exposure, or addictive digital environments from day one. Technology should support healthy development and gradual independence.

A percentage of every account is reinvested.
Telecoms should not only profit from young people. They should invest in their future too.

We empower families to build healthy digital habits with confidence.
This is bigger than a device. It is a collective commitment to raising a generation that is connected, not consumed.
Kids & Tech
Children today are growing up in a digital world built for adults, where the first phone has become a difficult trade-off.
On one hand, it offers independence, connection and essential digital skills; on the other, it opens the door to an environment never designed for children. One shaped by social media exposure, algorithm-driven content, rising anxiety, stress and isolation, and a growing disconnect from real-world relationships.
Existing parental controls are easily bypassed, leaving parents feeling the pressure while schools are left to manage the consequences.
There must be a better way.
Rebel Telecom was built to create a healthier first relationship with technology — not by removing children from the digital world, but by redesigning how they enter it.

Founders Munur Shah and Eli Samuel are both parents who experienced first-hand the growing tension most families face around technology.
After working as a coach with families affected by screen addiction, anxiety and digital conflict, Munur saw the same concerns repeated again and again:
Parents did not want to eliminate technology. They wanted a healthier, manageable first step that would keep them in control of safeguarding their children’s habits and wellbeing.
At the same time, Eli recognised a deeper problem with the telecom and smartphone industry:
The industry was lagging to create a responsible first phone for children. It had simply handed down adult devices and layered restrictions on top.
Together, they decided to build something fundamentally different. Combining therapeutic expertise with deep technical innovation, they created a purpose-built smartphone and ecosystem designed for children, families and schools. Not anti-technology, but pro-childhood.
