Cancellation & Cooling-Off Policy
Your right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013
Last Updated: 21 June 2026
1. Your Right to Cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your contract with Rebel Telecom Limited within 14 days without giving any reason. This is your "cooling-off period."
2. Cooling-Off Period
The cancellation period expires 14 days from:
- For services (mobile plans): the day after the contract is concluded
- For goods (devices, SIM cards): the day after you or a person you nominate (other than the carrier) takes physical possession of the goods
- For eSIM-only orders: the day after the eSIM activation email is sent
The contract is considered concluded when we confirm acceptance of your order and your SIM or eSIM is activated, whichever occurs first.
3. How to Cancel
To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement. You can do this by:
- Email: hello@rebeltelecom.com
- Phone: +44 (0) 330 190 0072
- Post: Rebel Telecom Limited, 27 Old Gloucester Street, London, WC1N 3AX, United Kingdom
- Online: Log in to your account and request cancellation from your mobile line settings
You may use the Sample Cancellation Form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication concerning your right to cancel before the cooling-off period has expired.
4. Effects of Cancellation
Refund
If you cancel within the cooling-off period, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of delivery (except for supplementary costs arising from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery we offer).
We will make the reimbursement without undue delay and no later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive any goods back from you; or
- 14 days after you provide evidence that you have returned the goods (whichever is earlier); or
- For services, 14 days after we are informed of your decision to cancel
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Returning Goods
You must return any physical goods (devices, SIM cards) to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you communicate your cancellation. You must bear the direct cost of returning the goods. Goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging where possible. SIM cards and eSIM activations may not require physical return where they have been activated or consumed.
You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and functioning.
Services Already Used
If you requested that services begin during the cooling-off period and then cancel, you will be liable to pay us an amount proportionate to the services provided up to the point you informed us of cancellation, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract. Service use includes any network activity such as calls, SMS, or data usage, including background data connections.
5. Cancellation After the Cooling-Off Period
Rebel Telecom mobile plans are rolling monthly contracts with no minimum term. After the cooling-off period, you may cancel your service at any time with 30 days' notice. There are no early termination charges.
To cancel after the cooling-off period, you can use any of the contact methods listed above or manage your subscription through your account dashboard.
Requesting cancellation does not automatically transfer your number. You must request a PAC/STAC separately if you wish to retain your number.
6. Number Porting
If you wish to keep your phone number when leaving Rebel Telecom, you can request a Porting Authorisation Code (PAC) or a Service Termination Authorisation Code (STAC) from your account settings or by contacting us. We will provide the code within one working day as required by Ofcom.
